The South Carolina Department of Education recently awarded Ascent Classical™ Academy of Irmo a Planning and Implementation sub-grant for $900,000 over the next three years. Ascent Classical™ Academies secured two of the seven grants awarded for the 2024-2025 academic year.
“We are honored to be recognized by the state for our work to expand school choice options in South Carolina and bring a high-quality classical education to the Irmo/Chapin community,” said Derec Shuler, founder and executive director of Ascent Classical™ Academies. “This funding is a valuable aid in ensuring a robust opening for the upcoming school year.”
